In march dr Alina Brzeczek-Szafran had an excellent opportunity to visit Professor Macfarlane’s group at Monash University for 2 weeks under the Strategic Partnerships program funded by National Agency for Academic Exchange. It was a very productive time on discussing our ongoing collaboration on the development of sustainable phase change materials with dr Karolina Matuszek, new electrolytes for batteries applications with dr Binayak Roy as well as to examine few new organic salts in terms of their thermal properties.

During the stay Alina delivered a seminar on the bio-based functional materials for catalysis and thermal energy storage for the School of Chemistry.
