The head of our group, Professor Anna Chrobok visited this month Monash University where she was invited to give a lecture on industrial aspects of the research on the ionic liquids, entitled “When the sustainability meets economy: the development of the industrially relevant processes for ester/lactones production. Most of all the stay at Monash was a fantastic opportunity to visit prof. Douglas R. MacFarlane’s group and our former PhD student and friend dr Karolina Matuszek who started her PhD journey in ionic liquids with Anna. The visit was also a chance to discuss the ongoing and future collaborations. Thank you for the hospitality!
