Professor Seeram Ramakrishna from the National University of Singapore visitted our laboratory during his stay at the Silesian University of Technology as part of the International Conference on Priority Research Areas. 

He is a professor of Mechanical Engineering and a co-director of NUS Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Initiative (NUSNNI). He heads the Centre for Nanofibers and Nanotechnology and he is Chair of the Circular Economy Taskforce. 

Research Interests: Materials Science; Nanotechnology; Biomaterials; Sustainable Materials; Circular Economy 
We had fruitful discussions regarding the use of ionic liquids as modern materials.
