The head of our group, Professor Anna Chrobok, is honored to serve as a member of the Monitoring Committee for the ‘European Funds for Silesia 2021-2027’ program on behalf of the Central Council of Science and Higher Education.

The Monitoring Committee functions as an independent advisory and opinion-giving body for the institution managing the program and is appointed by that institution. It comprises representatives from the government, local government, science, as well as social and economic partners, including non-governmental organizations. The Committee’s responsibilities include approving the methodology and criteria for project selection, including any potential changes, reviewing the final report on program implementation, assessing the program evaluation plan and any proposed revisions, and considering recommendations for program enhancements. The European funds allocated to the region offer a significant opportunity for the region’s intensive development and the improvement of its residents’ quality of life.
