The most influential international congress in the field of ionic liquids was held this year in Lyon. Our group members were present in France, presenting our recent achievements in the field of catalysis, materials and energy storage.

prof. Chrobok presented results on ionic liquids in effective ruthenium olefin metathesis while dr Brzeczek-Szafran gave a talk on sweet ionic liquids for sustainable functional materials.

PhD students Bartek Gaida and Anna Wolny presented recent results of their work on the molecular interactions in bio-derived organic salts and supported trifloaluminate ionic liquid as catalysts for continuous flow Diels Alder reaction respectively.

We were also present at the poster session where dr Piotr Latos presented his work on combination of deep eutectic solvents and metallic species.
